"I am fascinated by light, color, and form and see interesting combinations of these elements all the time, everywhere. If these elements and sensations are observed honestly for what they are, they can be categorized and used for purposes other than they were intended for by nature. This makes it possible for an artist to create or recreate objects that do not imitate nature but parallel nature as physical objects in themselves. I prefer not to be didactic or representational but rather to evoke and stimulate the imagination. If these objects generate a meaning or have significance to the viewer I feel that the work is successful."
